Chocolate Bon Bons - Easing The Makeup Cravings

I have never been one to say I MUST have a piece of makeup. But that all changed when the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bon eyeshadow palette came out.

Since they launched, I’ve loved the chocolate-infused products Too Faced produces. When the coco-infused makeup began to hit the shelves, I went crazy looking for the powder foundation. It was good (smells fantastic), but I hit pan fast and felt it wasn’t worth the $30+ to only last a month, so when the Bon Bon palette hit, I caved.

Let’s just say, I’m glad I have it!

After having my Sephora VIB status revoked (I was put on Sephora probation), I was devastated. My poor boyfriend searched for this palette and it wasn’t until we went to Virginia Beach for Christmas that we found it. Now, I could have purchased the sweet, cocoa scented eyeshadow on Too Faced’s website, but I wanted it in my hands (plus, my luck it would have arrived broken). Low and behold, I walked into Sephora and THERE IT WAS!

Now, we’re about a week into palette usage and I’m in love! The neutrals are the best. The colors are pretty pigmented and don’t go all over the place (an issue I’ve had with other brands), and they’re long lasting – sans eyeshadow primer.

Cons – limited color options. I like a pop of color from time to time, but this palette lacked diversity. However, the Earl Grey shadow can pass for a blue shadow and the pinks (‘Fetch’ is amazing), ease the pain.

Over all, this palette is wonderful and I highly recommend it. Now, if you have the original Chocolate Bar palettes, you could probably pass on this one (unless you own all the Naked palettes by Urban Decay, then feel free to add to your obsessive makeup collection like I wish I could do).
